Students Aim Higher
As part of Newham’s Gifted and Talented ‘Aim Higher’ programme, fifteen year six pupils were selected to visit Cambridge university.
The children, all aspiring to attend university themselves, learnt about university life in a club run by Adam throughout the year. On the day, the children studied light in the university science labs and took part in a quiz around the campus grounds.
They visited the lecture halls and the famous Corpus Christie College Library. Who knows? - one day these high achievers could be Cambridge students themselves!
