There are lots of adults in our classroom – Sheena, Alex, Hazra and Bindu all work hard to make sure that we enjoy Year 1 and learn lots.

Our topic this term is ‘Buildings and Homes’ so we will be learning about different types of houses and looking carefully at different types of buildings, thinking about what they are used for and what they look like.

We will also be learning to add and subtract bigger numbers than we did in Reception, as well as practising our writing skills to make them even better.

We are looking forward to a fun year where we learn lots of new things!
