Class 3D
Hello and welcome to 3D.
Our teacher is Duncan and 3D’s topic this term is Romans. We are having a great time learning about Romans, so far we have learnt about Roman numerals, wars and soldiers. Now we are learning about the weapons the Romans used. The Romans used shields, swords, daggers, nets and spears and wore armour. We have had lots of fun making flags and shields. The Romans invaded Britain and lots of other countries in Europe 2000 years ago. The countries that were invaded had lots of damage and many people were killed by the Romans.
The Romans had gladiators which are people who fight in massive stadiums. There are two men that fight against each other and sometimes against animals! We’re very excited because we’re going to the British Museum to find out all about the Romans.
