Class 4J

children in a groupHello and welcome to 4J’s home page

After a great first half term we are all glad to be back and we’re all looking forward to our new topic, Marvellous Monarchy. We will be learning all about the Tudors! We have already learnt some interesting facts. Did you know that Lady Jane Grey was queen for only 9 days, making her the shortest reigning British monarch.

We will also be continuing to improve our reading, writing and numeracy this term. We’re hoping that by the end of the term everyone will know all of their times tables. Some people all ready do and they will be showing off in the timestableathon during maths week.

Every week we go swimming and we are starting to become very good at it. Many of the children in 4J can now swim a whole width of the pool without stopping. By the end of the term we are hoping to get into the big pool and swim across it.

We know this term is going to be even better than the last!

Thanks for reading

From all of 4J
