Class 5L

children readingHello from 5L!

Last term we all worked extra hard on our Rainforest and Space topics, producing some excellent work and learning some very important facts. Come and quiz us if you’d like to know more!

Last term we also had a lot of different visits happening, some of them with Year 6. Some children went to the Olympic Park to watch Handball, some went to the Excel centre and everyone went to the National Gallery and the Science Museum. We are really lucky to be able to go on such exciting visits!

Half of Year 5 went to the Barge Haybay last term, and the other half has the chance to go in March. Everyone really enjoyed the activities that there were to do and have some lasting memories of the adventure.

We have just started studying World War II as our current Creative Curriculum topic. We have already begun to think about what happened during the War and have lots of exciting activities to look forward to as part of it! Dressing up for our VE Day party and going on a trip to the Britain at War museum are certain to be highlights!
