Welcome to our Year 6 page!
We can’t believe a term has passed so quickly!
Before Christmas our topic was “Maybe it’s because I’m a Londoner”. This was fascinating because we learnt so much about the place we live! We went on an amazing trip to all the famous landmarks around London including Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Nelson’s Column. We learnt so many facts about London that if you see us in the corridor why not stop and ask us about it?!!
Now we’re in the Spring Term and the countdown to the SATs have begun. We split into 4 groups for literacy and maths every morning! It’s hard work but it’ll be worth it. Our topic this term is China and Tibet so hopefully we will be able to go to Chinatown in London.
Rumour also has it that some of us will be lucky enough to go to Fairplay House!!! We can’t wait!
