Year 6 Production - Sunderella

Sunderella slipperThe Year 6 Production, Sunderella was Cinderella with a Bollywood twist. The leaving year had many opportunities to show off their acting, singing and dancing; bangra, dandia, break-dance and disco, skills. They loved it as much as the audience did!

The story began in the Bazaar in the streets of Haridwar. The scene moved to the house of Sunderella, where you could see how hard her life is, and how "ugly" her step family were, appearance and personality. We come back to the streets of Haridwar, but only this time it was full of excitement of the ball in the palace, and that the "Raja" (Prince) was looking for a bride. We visit the house of cruelty again, watching Sunder slave for her family, making them their idea of "break-taking". They left her, sniggering away leaving Sunder hurt. Along came fairies making her the star of the ball, also making her dream come true. But before the ball starts the Prince commands his freedom, but did come to a success. Although he did not think he would, the Prince found the perfect "Dulhan" (wife). Unfortunately, she ran leaving her cursaw behind. Who was it? Why did she leave? The messengers searched the land…. They found her eventually… Sunderella was sent to the palace to get married with the Prince … and lived happily ever after.

Here are some more photos of the Year 6 Production.
